More NYFW Spring 2011 RTW

Sorry it's taking me for ever to do this, but I'm here now, so I'm getting it done...  I also want to share some of my favourites from Paris, Milan, and London. And will, I also promise it's going to happen in the next few days (I hope so). Lets get started...

Marchesa

What can I say about this collection? Besides it's a normal and beautiful Marchesa collection, as expected we see a lot of ruffles, embellishments, and of course miles of tulle! Marchesa gowns are what I always dream about, they make a girly girl's dream come true. In my opinion they're perfect for a red carpet princess moment or for a beautiful editorial. Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig never fail to amaze me... this is why I'm in love with fashion.

Michael Kors

Kors has been one of the few who sends swimwear down the runway, but not only that he sent refined and beautiful swimwear. With Michael Kors we always see American sportswear at its best, he sent sweaters, coats, and structural pants and dress. Overall Kors made a great collection.

Marc Jacobs

First of all, Jacobs color palette is to die for, this is how a true spring collection should look like!
We see satin, translucent clothes, and orchids forming part of the clothes. Just by looking at the collection I feel like I'm already in spring, which makes my heart happy.

Donna Karan

Karan chose to go for a muted palette, and even though I'm a color lover I actually like this collection. She used ruffles, and went for long silhouettes. She also had a couple beautiful gowns, my favourite, the last photo shown above.

BCBG Max Azria

Lots, and lots of mini dresses. They went with asymmetrical, geometrical, and flow. The surprising fact here was that the girls opened the show with a long white dress and closed it with the lace piece shown above.

Vera Wang

Great collection, she took risks with this collection, she stepped out of her comfort zone and did great!
