Rumor has it that a remake of El Privilegio de Amar, tentatively titled Cristal, is in the works at Televisa. The title (Cristal) is taken from the 1985 telenovela of which El Privilegio is also a remake.
The possible stars for the leading lady role are Marlene Favela, Lisette Morelos, and Karyme Lozano, and for the leading man role, Jaime Camil, Fernando Carrillo, and Mark Tacher.
