Driving to work this morning, I almost ran off the road when they announced that Bernie Mac(born Bernard Jeffrey McCollough) died of complications of pneumonia at age 50, I still can not believe it. Bernie Mac is a fellow Chicagoan and one of the funniest and creative comedies of my generation. He will truly be missed. I loved him in "Ocean's Eleven" and of course The "Bernie Mac Show". A public memorial is planned for noon on Wednesday August 16th at The House Of Hope Church in Chicago.
