Project Runway: Good Queen Fun

Top Three Designers

I thought no challenge could be more tacky than the wresting challenge last year but I was wrong. This week drag queen challenge took the crown. Joe won with his spectacular pink sequins sailor ensemble. Granted it was hideous and over-the-top but it was the perfect outfit for a drag queen and the belt hides the "Candy"!

My Liberian Queen Korto did it again with this amazing sculpture piece. She came in second place with this elaborate design!

Terri funky Kimono piece was definitely drag queen heaven. RuPaul, the guest judge, said it's James Simmons(from Kiss) and Diana Ross love child. Terri was a little upset that she yet again did not win a challenge!

Bottom Three Designers

Daniel just could not grasp this challenge at all and once again he just made a cocktail dress. He was suppose to be creative and over-the-top but instead he gave us a dress we could find at Cache or any other cheesy store! Daniel got the boot.

Keith is the one trick pony who thinks fringes are the answer for every challenge. This bundle of confusion almost send him home and just to think, he won the challenge last week. How the mighty has fallen?

Jerell's drag queen looks like Liza Minnelli on crack! His design had no rhyme or reason...just hideous!

Project Runway was truly entertaining with the drag queens being the contestants models. The look had to be extraordinary and fabulous. Chris March from last season open the show in one of his outrageous Viking costume with enormous boobs. RuPaul was the guest judge and the highlight of the show with his hilarious comments. He told Daniel that his dress was not great enough because the drag queens had to make "coins" or else they might have to sell their hormone pills in Harlem for rent! I do have to admit Rupaul is looking a little rough around the edges maybe he needs more hormone pills. Let's face it drag queen clothes are atrocious but it takes a great deal of creativity and imagination and I could appreciate the designs.
